 trömsbruk is a perfect starting point for your paddle excursion. The two Holm lakes present wonderful flat water canoeing and the Harmånger River from Harmånger down through the southern lake makes for an exciting day trip.
The former Nordanstigsleden is a great alternative for excursions from two to four days. Contact us for maps and directions.
One great outing is to start in Strömsbruk, by Kustleden, and paddle up to the historical Holm farm, with remains from the 1630's. You can pick up a guide and a map at our reception.
In order to protect the rare river crayfish in the area it's important to wash down canoes that have been paddled elsewhere. Visit us and we'll supply cleaning instructions and materials at no cost.
If you don't have your own canoe, rent one of ours. We'll even give you a free lesson if you've never paddled before.
For kayaking try the sea. We have a few rental kayaks which are simple and perfect for beginners. Paddling along the shoreline of the sea can also easily be done with one of our canoes.
The trip from Norstafjärden-Skutbryggan is an enjoyable alternative with both lake and sea paddling.
