Swimming - saltwater - freshwater

Our own ocean beach, Hästasand*, is so close that many guests chose to take a morning dip before breakfast.

For those who prefer warmer freshwater, Sörsjöbadet is the closest alternative but not the only one. After a bike ride to Långsjön a refreshing swim feels wonderful.

More great saltwater swimming can be found at Rönnskär, Morängsviken and Rammelsand, all easily reached by bicycle.

For the more adventurous, a canoe or kayak is an exciting way to discover completely private beaches along the coast or on islets and skerries.

Kilometre-long stretches of sand in Sörfjärden and vibrating summer beaches at Hölick and Hornslandet are just a short drive from Strömsbruk.
